Once you have a clear mental vision of your future, it’s time to bring that future into reality, by curating a VISUAL representation of that life.

💡 IMPORTANT: Humans are GOAL seeking organisms. When we can SEE something that we want, and are reminded of it every single day, given enough time, you will get there eventually.

There are TWO parts to creating your vision for the future.

Part 1. WHO you must become to be worthy of your dream future. You must change your ACTIONS, HABITS & BEHAVIOURS - you can model these on people that inspire you. When faced with day to day decisions, you must ask yourself “What would X do in this situation?”

Part 2. WHAT your dream future consists of. These are the material things that help you craft that clear vision of your future. These give you something visual to latch on to. The key is practicing the FEELING and EMOTIONS of already HAVING these items and critically, being GRATEFUL for already having them.

Spend time finding these images - use social media, Google, Pinterest or whatever to find images of the life and person you wish to become.

These could be images of homes, cars, people, art, clothes, whatever it is - BE SPECIFIC.

If you want a specific car - get an image of the exact model and colour you want.

If you want a specific type of home - go search some sites where there are homes on the market.

If you want to look a certain way - go and find images of people that have a body you will aspire to.

Once you have these images you need to remind yourself of them every single day.

I have my Vision Board in two places that I can see every day:

  1. DeveloperOS Dashboard - so I see it every single day when I scroll to see my projects and tasks.

  2. My Phone Lock Screen - I created a collage on Canva in 20 mins and I’m reminded of my dreams subconsciously every time I open my phone.
